Mr. Mooney has more than 17 years of experience in investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity investments, corporate finance, and valuation analysis. Mr. Mooney also has operating experience as a CFO of early stage and mature companies, particularly in the software and medical informatics industries. Mr. Mooney was previously a founder and managing partner of Commercial Bridge Capital, LLC, a venture lending fund and a founder and managing partner of Regent Partners, LLC, a boutique investment banking firm. Mr. Mooney earned his MBA in Corporate Finance in 1990 from the University of Maryland Graduate Business School at College Park, and his BA in Economics from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland. Mr. Mooney has served on several boards of directors of including Verras Medical, Inc., SmartPro3, Inc. and MediaGear, Inc. and was a founder of Crossflo Systems, Inc. |

Mr. Brule comes to PDSG with 25 years of experience in high-tech startups. He joined PDSG as part of the acquisition of the Vigilys product line from Kratos Defense and Security Solutions. Mr. Brule joined the Vigilys team at Kratos as the Director of Engineering and Director of Product Marketing, and led the effort to bring the product to market. Prior to that, Mr. Brule was CTO of Osmose Utilities Services, a provider of software and services to the electric utility and telecommunications industries. He led the development and deployment of FastGate, a software system that combined handheld and server-based components for the collection of data and improved reliability of distribution networks. The FastGate product line came to Osmose when the acquired Coherent Networks, a high-tech startup that Mr. Brule helped co-found in the late 80’s. At various times through the 80’s and 90’s, he led the product development and professional services organizations at Coherent Networks, helping build it into a profitable software and services company. Mr. Brule earned a B.S. in Computer Science and an M.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Syracuse University. |

Mr. Kooy joined PDSG in May 2008 with over 20 years experience both in state and local law enforcement and with criminal and intelligence information systems. For many years he was the principal associate in a nationally recognized consulting group, JusticeExperts Ltd., serving such clients as the FBI, the U.S. Department of Justice and other state and federal justice agencies.
He served as CriMNet Info Systems, Director of National Programs for the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension where he was instrumental in developing local and regional XML standards for Justice. Mr. Kooy also directed justice information sharing activities for the Hennepin County Criminal Justice Council and County Sheriff’s Office in Minneapolis. Mr. Kooy received his B.S. from the University of Minnesota and was a charter member of the Global Justice XML Task Force, and a member of the OASIS Integrated Justice Technical Committee, U.S. Department of Justice’s LEISP Architecture and Policy Committees, FBI-NDEx Data Set & Connectivity Committee, and an Adjunct Faculty Member of the Center for Society, Law & Justice at the University of New Orleans. |
